Imam referred to Public Prosecution for collecting money

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs referred an Imam to the Public Prosecution for breaching the charter of the Mosque by collecting money from worshippers under the pretext of sending donation to poor people and charity societies in Syria, reports Al-Qabas daily

Woman among 8 drunk: Police raided an apartment in Riqqei and arrested eight drunken people, including a woman, for holding a party and disturbing neighbors, reports Al-Anba daily. Security sources said the officers acted on a call made to the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry regarding the disturbance, and took necessary legal measures against the suspects who were high in alcohol at the time of arrest.
