Husband threatens to kill wife and daughter on suspicions of contracting coronavirus

KUWAIT CITY, March 1: Security operatives went to the rescue of a Kuwaiti woman who claimed that the husband had threatened to kill her and their daughter based on suspicions of contracting the novel corona virus, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Operations Room of Interior Ministry received a distress call from the Kuwaiti woman saying the husband had threatened to kill her and their daughter as he thought they have corona virus.

Acting on information, a team of security men went to the scene, and initial investigation that the woman and her daughter rather suspected the man had the virus and called an ambulance to refer him to Jaber Hospital but he became incensed by their action and threatened to kill them.

The citizen has since been referred to concerned health authorities but the wife refused to file a complaint against him.
