Husband locks his wife in room to deny her going for a reception party

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: A Kuwaiti woman was locked inside a room by her husband in order to stop her from attending her friend’s reception party, reports Al-Rai daily. Hawally securitymen, after receiving a distress call from the Kuwaiti woman, rushed to the house and rescued her.

She explained to them that she had prepared herself to attend her friend’s reception party but her husband refused and locked her inside a room. She managed to search on the Internet for the telephone number of police and made the distress call. Both the wife and the husband were taken to police station where a case was registered against the husband
