Hunt on for Jordanian swindler; Nepali stabbed

KUWAIT CITY, July 10: Police are looking for a Jordanian for swindling two compatriots, reports Al-Rai daily. Th e suspect reportedly convinced his victims to invest their money in a business and promised quick returns within three months. Two men swallowed the bait and the man escaped with KD 8,000.

Meanwhile, a Nepalese expatriate sustained injuries when he was stabbed by another during a quarrel between them in Fintas area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about an injured Nepalese man lying in a lot in Fintas area, securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics and found him in a pool of his blood. They rushed him to the nearest hospital for treatment. Investigations revealed that he was stabbed by a compatriot during a quarrel between them. A case was registered and further investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the suspect.
