His Highness the Amir attends flag-raising ceremony

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah attended Monday a flag-raising ceremony at Bayan Palace, marking the 10th anniversary of his assumption to power, the 55th anniversary of National Day and the 25th anniversary of Liberation Day.

The ceremony was attended by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, senior Sheikhs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Minister of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al- Sabah.

It was also attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Oil Anas Al-Saleh. In addition, ministers, senior state advisors and officials, and senior Army, Police, and National Guard officers were also present at the ceremony. The convoy of His Highness the Amir arrived at the Palace and he was warmly received by the army, police, National Guards as well as Kuwait Fire Service Directorate personals. His Highness the Amir hoisted the flag, followed by playing the national anthem.
