Hawally and Khaitan resident delighted on the eve of de-isolation

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 20: As a reward to the commitment for adhering health precautions the Cabinet Council decided in its last extraordinary meeting to de-isolate Hawally and Khaitan due to remarkable reduce in number of infections from coronavirus. The joy prevailed throughout Hawally and Khaitan and they committed to continue to wear face masks and continue with social distancing.

The residents from these areas will now be able to resume back to work, and to continue to earn their daily livelihoods, especially since the residents of these areas work for many important companies which the companies need their services to start the process for gradual return to normalcy.

The residents of these areas stated that other than minor issues like transportation to go to work and return they have no other issues

In Hawally area vehicle owners dusted off their vehicles, checked their tires, changed what was damaged, checked their batteries, and replaced what could be replaced in preparation for a return to life.

The movement in the streets and shops was very normal with a decrease in the numbers of people who were usually present in the streets and roads, as everyone was busy preparing for the first day of work ensuring they have enough sleep so that they can get off early and go to work.

The expat bachelors in Khaitan area breathed sigh of relief stating that de-isolating their area from the isolation list brought them back to life which will ensure to earn livelihood and send money to their ailing families in their countries for food and medicine.

They stated that many of them will return to their work in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area or other areas of work in construction, contracting operations, restaurants and companies operating in various fields.

In these three-weeks of isolation Khaitan residents stressed that they understood the importance of adhering to the hygienic instructions to keep social distancing and stay at home and ensure all aspects of public hygiene.
