The Gym Team, PABLIK launch Zumba season

The Gym Team in cooperation with the Zumba group of the Philippine Amateur Basketball League in Kuwait (PABLIK) opened the Zumba season on Friday at the New Riggae Bilingual School. Three Gym Team trainers and Zumba PABLIK joined forces on stage and presented an hour of bombastic routines of pure Zumba cardio workout.

Earlier in the morning, The Gym Team held its weekly Zumba at the Radisson Blu Hotel before heading to the Zumba PABLIK. The team’s class kicked off with Al Mabroor Gym fitness trainers namely Stella Munch, Nympha Luat and Frances Guzman Plarisan with Helen Rahi of the Marina Hotel at the helm. Plarisan led the warm-up followed by Munch with sets of Zumba routines and combined with line dance. Rahi oozing with energy led the crowd in boosting the group’s cardio endurance with fun workout and culminated with a great cool down by Luat.

After the Zumba at the Radisson, The Gym Team trainers Ricky Laxa, Jamie Red and Blanche Bravo headed to Riggae and took centre stage as they opened the Zumba season for PABLIK Zumba fanatics. PABLIK resident trainer Grace Lamprea with her team also joined The Gym Team trainers in the one hour Zumba workout.

“We have worked with the Gym Team for a year earlier and we are glad that we are in collaboration with them. We know the good repute the team has in the field of fitness and health paired with high calibre and competent trainers, we hope to do more projects with The Gym Team in the future,” stated PABLIK Chairperson Leon Bautista.

Meanwhile, Bravo commended the PABLIK for coming up with such project that can raise awareness on the importance of health and wellness.

PABLIK Zumba classes are held every Friday at the New Riggae Bilingual School in Riggae while The Gym Team Zumba classes at the Ballet Studio of Radisson Blu Hotel from 8am to 9:30am. The Gym team has currently the largest number of fitness mentors that holds classes every week.
