Govt bodies resume their official working hours, staff attendance

KUWAIT CITY, July 26: Government agencies on Sunday resumed their official working hours and employees’ attendance according to the percentage set by the Council of Ministers in its latest decision; except the ministries of Electricity, Water, Renewable Energy and Public Works which recorded more than 90 percent of the total permitted working hours and employees’ attendance, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.

Sources disclosed these ministries witnessed a remarkable turnout of auditors who reported for work to complete transactions. Sources said that through the abovementioned decision of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Electricity and Water has been able to accelerate the pace of work, push for the implementation of its projects, complete transactions electronically and those requiring the physical presence of auditors
