Ghanaian woman cheated of KD 850

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: Police are looking for an unidentified Kuwaiti for robbing a Ghanaian woman of KD 850, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added the 25-year-old wanted someone of sponsor her and the suspect promised to find her a job and someone to sponsor her. He also told her the favor would cost her KD 850, but after receiving the money in advance he did not show up. In her complaint to the Fintas Police Station the Ghanaian said her residence permit expired four months ago and the company gave her time to find a new sponsor. The Kuwaiti, who she knows, offered to help but cheated her. She said she paid the money about two months ago. Police records show the man has not only changed his cell phone number but has also changed his residential address.
Liquor factory busted: Acting on information and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, the Ahmadi police raided an apartment in Mahboula and arrested two Indians for turning it into a factory to manufacture alcohol, reports Al-Rai daily.
