Fox stirs panic inside Kuwait University Campus

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: A fox reportedly spread panic among female students inside the Kuwait University Campus, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, it was a case of mixed reaction because some female students were seen chasing the fox while others ran outside the campus frightened for their life. No one knows from where the fox came, but security guards succeeded in chasing the animal until it left the campus.

Two held with gun: Two Kuwaitis were arrested at a security checkpoint in Hawalli in possession of an unlicensed weapon and 22 rounds of ammunition. The suspects born in 1996 and 1997 respectively were stopped at a security checkpoint and offi cers discovered the weapon and ammunition at the back seat of their vehicle during checking. They were referred to concerned authorities for further investigation.

‘Drones forbidden’: The Interior Ministry has given clear instructions to deal with seriously with people fl ying wireless planes over Shiite mosques (Husseiniyas) and places of vital importance, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting security sources. The daily added the ministry will not tolerate those who toy with the security of the country.

Woman bootlegger: The Rabiya police have arrested three Asians, including a woman, for bootlegging, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, the bootleggers were arrested at an unidentifi ed location on suspicion and police are said to have seized from their car 25 bottles of locally manufactured alcohol.

2 escape death: Two youths — whose identities have not been revealed — escaped death following a two-vehicle collision on the Sixth Ring Road in the direction of Salmiya reports
