Four Bangladeshis caught making liquor in different apartments – Police nab Indian sorcerer in Rawdah

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: The Farwaniya police have arrested four Bangladeshis for bootlegging, reports Al-Shahed daily. The suspects were caught in a suburb of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. One of them reportedly attempted to escape on foot but was chased and arrested. Police have seized from the men 200 bottles of local booze from their car. They were reportedly manufacturing booze in two apartments – one in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and the other in Khaitan. The contraband and the bootleggers have been referred to the authorities.

Sorcerer arrested: Acting on a tip-off and armed with a search and arrest warrant police raided an apartment in Rawdah and arrested an Indian sorcerer and referred him to the authorities, reports Al-Rai daily. The Indian was reportedly caught red-handed after a female police agent with marked police money agreed with him to make for a charm amulet to help her control her husband. The man agreed and received the KD 500 marked currency following which he was arrested. Police have seized beads and various types of strange objects from the man.

Man held with drugs: Security operatives attached to Ahmadi Command apprehended a Kuwaiti man in Fahaheel area in possession of illicit drugs and knife. The officers were on a round of the vicinity when suddenly they observed a car moving in an erratic and ordered the driver to pull over for identity check. It was then the officers realized the 33 year-old Kuwaiti was in a disoriented state. They went ahead to conduct a search on him and discovered illicit drugs and knife. He was referred to the authority with the seized items. Meanwhile, Special Task Force officers apprehended an Arab expatriate and his nephew in Farwaniya area with narcotic pills and cigarette stuffed with hashish.

Indecent gesture: A 45-year old Kuwaiti woman has lodged a complaint at Al-Salaam Police Station against an unknown individual, accusing him of insulting her through a hand gesture. She explained that she was driving down a road in Al-Salaam area when a man in a luxury vehicle showed her an offensive hand gesture. She provided securitymen with the number plate and description of the suspect’s vehicle, using which securitymen have launched investigations to find the suspect.
