In-form Ayyar registers 5th win of season – Dr Hayef promises to continue supporting Equestrian Club

KUWAIT CITY, March 4: Horse ‘Ayyar’ continues its spree of victories after it registered its fifth victory of the current season in the 100-meter race for third-degree class champions to win the Late Hadi Hayef Al-Huwaila Cup Thursday at the Late Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah racetrack in Al-Ahmadi Equestrian Club.

Board Chairman of Al-Ahmadi Equestrian Club Dr Hayef Al-Huwaila said the successes of the club are the fruits of the tremendous efforts exerted by the honorees of the gathering, the members of the board and the media.

At the end of his speech, he promised to continue supporting the club in every manner.

The results of the 2,000-meter race of the second degree class are as follows:

Horse ‘Lo’youn Hamad’ from Al-Za’abi Stable with horseman Salem Al-Ajmi won first place followed by Horse ‘Mejawiz’ from Ghazi Al-Otaibi Stable with horseman Abdulaziz Nasr and Horse ‘Jamahir’ from Al-Rowais Stable with horseman Megan in second and third places respectively.

In the second round of 2,000-meter juniors race, Horse ‘Gala Ayed’ from Al-Obaidan Stable with horseman Yousef Mohammed won first place, Horse ‘Ghubash’ from Al-Thuwairan Stable with horseman Salem Al-Ajmi won second place and Horse ‘Sorour’ from Al-Owaini Stable with horseman Ceslio won the third position. The time was 2/15/62.

In the third round of the 1,000-meter race for first-degree class horses, Horse Nadir Al-Ahrar from Fahd Al-Dabous Stable with horseman Antony came first followed by Horse ‘Ezz Al-Harir’ from Al-Harir Stable with horseman Mansour Al-Razhan and Horse ‘Hala Sharq’ from Al-Sarhan Stable in second and third places respectively. The time was 2/14/60.

In the fourth round of the 1,000-meter race for third-degree class horses, Horse ‘Ayyar’ from Al-Faraj Stable with horseman Tawfiq won the first position and Horse ‘Mister Zaid’ from Al-Sarhan Stable with horseman Antony won the second position while the third position was taken by Horse ‘Al-Ahel’ from Al-Mohammadiya Stable with horseman Megan. The time was 1 minute.
