Forged KD 20 bills with an Indian

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: Security operatives apprehended an Indian man in possession of forged KD 20 notes worth KD 320, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source said a Bedoun grocer called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry saying an Indian was trying to buy vegetables with a forged KD 20 note. Acting on information, detectives went to the scene and arrested the suspect in possession of forged KD 320 cash. He has since been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department for interrogation.

Earlier, a group of Kuwaiti students in America had posted a hashtag ‘Student Sultan Shayea Al-Dhafiri is missing for four months and his fate is unknown’. The family of the missing student reacted and appealed to the concerned authorities to find him.

They also called on anyone who has information to communicate with them and inform them to be able to search for him. He was studying in Colorado when he went missing last September. A number of MPs have reacted and said they contacted the father of the student, and the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr Hamed Al-Azmi, who has promised to follow up the case immediately in coordination with the cultural attaché in the United States and the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry to find out the details of his disappearance.
