Football Association ‘reduces’ number of board members to 7

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: The General Assembly of the Kuwait Football Association approved, during its meeting on Monday, a proposal to reduce the number of board members from 14 to 7, with the approval of representatives of 13 clubs out of 15 who attended the meeting. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Club, a member of the General Assembly of the Federation, Khaled Al-Ghanim, said in a press statement after the meeting that the assembly rejected the resignation of 4 members of the Board of Directors so that it could amend the statute in preparation for the upcoming early elections, (KUNA).
