Five malls to participate in Hala February Festival

 KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: Among the biggest surprises of the 17th edition of the Hala February Festival, a camp was launched Friday in southern Bneidir off Road 258. The event will continue until March 1, 2016, says a press statement. Member of the Supreme Committee Mohammad Al-Da’as noted five commercial complexes will be participating in the festival in different parts of the country to get the event closer to the public.

The malls include Souk Sharq, Al-Dabous in Hawalli and Fahaheel, and Maghateer in Farwaniya area. Assistant Undersecretary for TV Affairs in the Ministry of Information Yusuf Mustafa much-admired the camp initiative and other activities to be carried out on the sidelines of the festival. He added the ministry has provided necessary equipment to facilitate live transmission of the activities.

He also said the sector is fully prepared to broadcast the activities of the carnival on Jan 29 from morning until noon in cooperation with the organizing committee of the festival. Member of the Supreme Committee Waleed Al-Suqabi commended the huge turnout at the camp’s opening, which he stressed, challenges the committee with a good deal of responsibility to maintain the pace of success. Ooredoo Telecommunication Company also participated in the opening event and distributed gifts to the participants of various competitions held on the sidelines of the festival. Board Chairperson of Corporate Communications in Ooredoo Mujbel Al-Ayoub went into raptures over the variety of activities at the opening event, adding the company is honored to be the official partner of the festival
