Fire damages six vehicles in Khaitan

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 17: Fire engulfed six vehicles in Khaitan area resulting in material losses but no casualties. In a press release issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), the Public Relations and Media Department of KFSD explained that the Control Room of KFSD, after receiving information about the vehicles on fire, dispatched firefighters to the location immediately with securitymen and paramedics. They discovered that the fire first broke out in a vehicle that was parked in a lot in Khaitan area and spread to five other vehicles nearby.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and launched investigations to determine the cause of the fire. Meanwhile, firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out in a chalet, which was used as labor accommodation, in Wafra area. No casualties were reported
