Filipina jumps from 3rd floor of her employer’s residence in Sabahiya

MANILA: A Filipina worker in Kuwait died after reportedly jumping from her employer’s residence on Tuesday, quoting the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), reports Inquirer.net.

The DFA in a statement on Wednesday said the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait is coordinating closely with authorities there who are investigating the death of the household service worker.  The DFA did not name the Filipina worker in its statement.

According to Chargé d’Affaires Noordin Lomondot, the worker reportedly jumped from the third floor of her employer’s residence in Sabahiya.

The DFA assured the family of the Filipina worker that it will provide assistance in the repatriation of her remains.
