Filipina beautician accused of stealing gold bracelet; 2 fires tackled

KUWAIT CITY, May 30: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Fintas Police Station accusing a Filipina cosmetology specialist of stealing her gold bracelet, reports Al-Rai daily. She told the police the theft occurred when she invited the Filipina for a private session in her home. She added, after the job was done she paid the woman her fees and after she left, the woman discovered the theft of her bracelet from the bedroom. The complainant has provided police details about the suspect.

Citizen held for drugs
A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in Kuwait City in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. According to security sources, Capital securitymen were patrolling Kuwait City when they suspected the driver of a US-made vehicle and ordered him to pull over. They checked his details to discover he is a Kuwaiti citizen. They checked the vehicle to find drugs and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen, who is wanted by law for a drug-related case, was arrested on Arabian Gulf Street and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
