FBC opens DMDA Cup 104th regular ‘badminton’ tourney

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: The Filipino Badminton Committee in Kuwait (FBC) in collaboration with Darwish & Mariano Design Associates (DMDA) opened its 104th regular tournament dubbed DMDA Cup on Friday at the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club in Hawally with a number of exciting and power-packed matches that included veteran and amateur players in various categories.

Once again, FBC welcomed new players (beginners level) and regular members (higher level). The tournament will be having 2 weeks of elimination rounds and quarter/semi/finals in the 3rd week (from Nov 30, 2018).

Meanwhile, badminton enthusiasts converged together and witnessed the PM Challenge Fun Games.

Champions: Jerrald Rosete & Amelyn Batican

Runners-up: Chris Hernandez & Eunichy Omandam

FBC will hold its One-Day major tournament on Nov 23, 2018 and it is open to the public.

FBC is inviting all badminton enthusiasts to register in its regular tournaments from 8 am to 1 pm while Fun games, adults/kids badminton coaching/tutorial and court rental from 2 pm to 5 pm.
