Fashionista referred to prosecution for promoting a device to detect coronavirus infection

KUWAIT CITY, March 24: The Ministry of Health has referred an unidentified Fashionista to the Public Prosecution for promoting a device to detect infection with ‘Covid-19’, without approval from the concerned authority, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Medicines and Medical Equipment Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr Abdullah Al-Badr, said the Ministry of Health referred social media celebrity the Public Prosecution for promoting an unlicensed device. Al-Badr has called on citizens and residents to beware such people and said the device that has been promoted has no licence from the Ministry of Health.
