Fake cops rob Asian – Gang robs delivery boy

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: Police are looking for four unidentified persons for assaulting an Indian home deliveryman who works for a restaurant and stealing his money, reports Al-Rai daily. The incident happened in Jahra and in his complaint to the area police he said when he arrived at the place where he was supposed to deliver food, he found four men waiting for him.

They snatched the food from him, beat him and stole his money and cell phone. The victim said he could not take the car plate number of the suspects car. A case has been registered.

Meanwhile, two unknown individuals impersonated detectives to waylay an Asian expatriate in Fahaheel area and rob him of KD 350 and his identification documents, reports Al- Shahed daily.

According to sources, the victim was walking in the area when he was stopped by two individuals in a 4×4 vehicle who asked him for his civil ID. When the victim pulled out his wallet to take out his civil ID, the suspects snatched his wallet and drove away.

Using the information provided by the victim, securitymen have launched investigations to fi nd and arrest the two suspects.
