Ex-Husband beats up Kuwaiti woman; Motorist harass woman

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 16: A case of beating and assault has been filed against the ex-husband of an unidentified Kuwaiti woman, reports Al-Anba daily. The woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, in her complaint to the police said her ex-husband knocked on the door of her house in Umm Al-Haiman and when she refused to open the door, he forced his way in the house, beat her and escaped. She has submitted a medical report to confirm the beatings.

Woman harassed: The Hawalli Public Prosecution has issued an arrest warrant against an unidentified motorist for deliberately damaging the vehicle of a woman who is believed to be in her 30s and harassing her, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily quoting security sources the woman in her complaint said the suspect driving a four-wheeler continued to harass her at every traffic light and when she refused to give in to his advances, he deliberately collided with her vehicle and escaped. The woman has provided police details about the suspect’s car, including the car plate number. He is expected soon to be brought in for interrogation.
