Ethiopian man and four Bangladeshis held as flat turned into brothel

KUWAIT CITY, July 1: The Farwaniya police have arrested five people an Ethiopian man and four Bangladeshis – two men and two women – for turning their apartment into a brothel in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the arrest came after someone informed the Security Director of the Farwaniya Governorate Brigadier Saleh Matar Al-Anzi following which orders were given to put the apartment under surveillance. All those arrested have been referred to the concerned authorities to prepare their deportation from the country.

Woman threatened: The Jahra police are looking for three unidentified armed men for breaking into the home of an Iraqi woman and threatening to kill her, reports Al-Anba daily. The 30-year-old woman told police the suspects were looking for her sister, whose identity has not been given. She added, one of them who carried a gun threatened to kill her and warned her not to keep in touch with her sister. The woman added, she neither knows the suspects nor the sister they were talking about. When she informed the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior, a task force dispatched to the area found ammunition and a pistol outside the house.
