‘End drifting, speeding on roads’ – Traffic patrols to increase

KUWAIT CITY, April 2: The Undersecretary for Traffic Operations at the Ministry of Interior Major-General Jamal Al-Sayegh has given instructions to the traffic patrols to put an end to the phenomenon of recklessness and speeding, which has increased recently in many areas of Kuwait, especially in the governorates of Ahmadi, the Capital and Farwaniya, reports Al-Anba daily.

The sources pointed out, Major-General Al-Sayegh has instructed the patrolmen to take benefit of video clips published on the social media websites.

Meanwhile, the daily said a number of citizens, especially residents of Jaber Al-Ahmad have appealed to the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Lt-Gen Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah to put an end to this phenomenon which has become a big problem for them.
