Egyptian arrested on forged visa

KUWAIT CITY, July 29: An Egyptian expatriate was arrested at Al-Salmi border checkpoint for attempting to enter the country using a fake visa, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources, an officer of Passports Unit in Al-Salmi border checkpoint was checking the passport of the Egyptian driver of a heavy vehicle when he realized the visa did not seem genuine. After asking the driver to pull over, the officer consulted his supervisor who checked the visa to realize that it is forged. The suspect was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
