Drugs kill youth; 87,000 ‘pills’ seized at border

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: A young man who died as a result of drugs overdose has been registered as ‘suicide’ upon orders of the Public Prosecution, reports Al-Anba daily. According to reports the man died in his home and the death was reported by his father. When personnel from the Forensic Department rushed to the spot, they found drugs and drugs consuming tools next to the body.

Pills’ seized: Customs officers at the Abdali border post have foiled the attempt of an Iraqi man to smuggle 87,056 narcotic pills into the country, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the suspect came aboard a flight from Germany. The contraband was hidden in her baggage. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
