Drugs found on wanted Kuwaiti man

KUWAIT CITY, July 19: A wanted Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in Fahaheel area in possession of drugs. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Fahaheel area when they noticed two vehicles with motorists inside them in a lot. As they approached the vehicles, the motorists drove away. Securitymen chased one of the vehicles which eventually stopped after it hit two vehicles and a bus in front of a house. Securitymen arrested the driver and checked his details to discover he is a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for a number of crimes. They checked his vehicle and found drugs. He was referred with the drugs to the General Department for Drug Control for investigations.

Liquor seized: Two Asian expatriates were arrested in Hawally area in possession of 15 sacks filled with bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, Private Taskforce officers were patrolling the area when they stopped a vehicle based on suspicions and checked the details of the two occupants to discover they are Asian expatriates. When they checked the trunk of the vehicle, they found 15 sacks filled with bottles of locally manufactured liquor. The suspects were referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen, who is wanted by law for his involvement in a finance-related case, was arrested for consuming alcohol. He was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
