Drug-addict son threatens to kill his family after his father refused to give him KD 1,000

KUWAIT CITY, April 2: Police have taken into custody a young Kuwaiti for threatening to kill his family, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the arrest came after the young man told his mother that he will kill her and his two sisters because the father refused to give him KD 1,000 to buy drugs. The father told the police his son is a drug addict and was threatening to stab his mother and two sisters. The son has been handed over to the police.

KD 1,800 stolen: An unidentified media man has filed a complaint with the Nugra Police Station accusing an Egyptian employee of a travel office in Hawalli of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Rai daily. The complainant said the employee received KD 1,800 to make hotel reservations for him and his family in Europe and cancelled the reservations and disappeared. It is reported that the employee had already left for his home country
