Driver commits suicide in his sponsor’s house

KUWAIT CITY, July 8: An Asian expatriate committed suicide by hanging inside his sponsor’s house in Saad Al-Abdullah area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti citizen about finding his driver hanging from the ceiling with a rope noosed around his neck inside a room in his house, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. They pulled down the body and checked it to discover the driver had died. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department. A case was registered and investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the suicide.

‘Drifter’ killed: A youth, who had stolen a vehicle and driven it recklessly on Ahmadi Stables Road, died when the vehicle crashed into a lamppost. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, patrol officers rushed to the location to discover the youth, who was not more than 20 years of age and possibly a Kuwaiti citizen, had died. When securitymen checked the details of the vehicle, they discovered it was reported as stolen. The corpse of the deceased was referred to the Forensics Department and a case was registered. Meanwhile, two motorists miraculously survived when their vehicles collided and toppled. Securitymen took necessary action.

Death probed: The remains of a Kuwaiti man who died inside a flat in Salmiya area were referred to Forensics by Criminal Evidences Men to investigate the cause of death. A security source said the citizen born in 1979 was found dead inside his flat in Salmiya area under mysterious circumstances but detectives could not trace any crime at the scene, and there was no sign of assault on the body. A case was registered and investigation is ongoing to resolve mystery surrounding his death
