Diesel on road

KUWAIT CITY, May 17: The Ministry of Public Works laying asphalt at the Sabah Al-Salem roundabout between blocks 8 and 11 was disrupted because some scrupulous motorists poured diesel in the area to carry out acts of recklessness, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The Ministry said the act of vandalism has been documented and coordination has been sought from the Ministry of Interior to put an end to such acts of sabotage.

Fight in public: Police have detained three people for interrogation, one of them a military man working for the Ministry of Defence.

The daily added, it was two against one and one of them allegedly used a fire extinguisher from the car to hit the other man and cause him minor injury.

The incident happened on Maghreb Highway, opposite Surrah.
