Documentary-maker finds rotten corpse in abandoned building

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: The corpse of an unknown individual was found inside an empty building in Khaitan area, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti citizen who found the corpse, securitymen rushed to the location and discovered the corpse was fully decomposed. When they questioned the citizen, he revealed that he saw the corpse when he went to the empty house to shoot a documentary film. Securitymen referred the corpse to the General Department for Criminal Evidences for identifying the corpse. A case was registered for investigations.

Jail for citizen: The Penal Circuit of the Court of First Instance has sentenced a Kuwaiti to three years imprisonment with hard labor for offending HH the Amir on one of the social media websites, reports Al-Anba daily. The same court has acquitted another citizen who was charged by the Public Prosecution of threatening the safety and security of the country by calling on people to join DAESH.

 MoD denies report: The Ministry of Defense has denied reports which say the sons of Kuwaiti women married to non-GCC men will be absorbed in the Kuwait Army, reports Al-Rai daily. The source said the denial came when a large number of applicants wishing to join the Army gathered at the Headquarters of General Staff. The source added the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah has not issued any such instructions
