KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: The Council of Ministers will discuss the possibility of allowing direct flights to and from some countries in its next meeting, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources. This came after the issuance of the decision to increase the number of arriving passengers to 7,500 per day; while direct flights to and from the Arab Republic of Egypt will be through chartered flights in the first phase of the return of direct flights between Kuwait and Egypt, sources disclosed. Sources explained these chartered flights will be for those leaving or coming to the country, provided they meet the health requirements such as full vaccination with the approved vaccines in Kuwait — two doses of Pfizer, Oxford and Moderna or one dose of Johnson & Johnson, while those who got vaccinated in Egypt must obtain approval for their vaccination certificates from the concerned authorities here.
