DGCA said paid KD 16,000 to employee absent for 780 days

KUWAIT CITY, March 24: The State Audit Bureau has revealed serious administrative irregularities in the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), including KD 16,000 paid to an unidentified employee who had not showed up for work for 780 days, reports Al-Qabas daily. The Audit Bureau has requested the DGCA management to take necessary measures and refund money to the State Treasury in addition to taking disciplinary measures against the employee.

Signature forged: An unidentified Arab representative of a company has been arrested for forging the signature of his Kuwaiti sponsor, applying seven visas on his behalf and selling them for more than KD 12,000, reports Al-Anba daily. The forgery was discovered when the citizen visited one of the service centers and discovered seven visas had been issued on behalf of one of his farms.
