Deportation for 9 beggars – their sponsors files blocked

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 5: The Residence Affairs Investigations Department is initiating legal action against 9 beggars who were arrested a couple of days ago, reports Al- Anba daily.
The daily quoting security sources said some of them may be deported to their home countries. This is addition to ‘blocking’ the files of their sponsors. The daily said the arrests came during campaigns organized in several areas in the Capital governorate.
Among those arrested are two minors. Their parents have been summoned for interrogation to give an explanation before they are handed over to the concerned authorities.
