Deportation for Art. 22 beggars

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: A Jordanian woman and her nine-year old daughter were arrested for begging in Sabahiya area, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to security sources, when Ahmadi securitymen received information about a woman begging in Sabahiya area, they rushed to the location and arrested the woman and her daughter in possession of KD 22.750, 165 Saudi Riyals, 15 UAE Dirham and $100.

Ahmadi Security Director Brigadier Abdullah Safa Al- Mullah ordered to refer the woman and her daughter to the deportation center and send a report to the General Department for Residency Affairs for taking necessary action against the woman’s husband because the residence permits of the woman and her daughter are of Article 22.
