Deportation for anti-Kuwaiti Egyptian expat

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: An Egyptian expatriate was arrested for instigating his compatriots to deal with citizens in a violent manner. According to security sources, the suspect had posted a video clip in which he encouraged his compatriots to attack any citizen who talks aggressively with them instead of taking them to court. After viewing the video clip, securitymen carried out investigations and discovered that the suspect works at Ministry of Interior. He was arrested and dismissed from his job in the ministry. Necessary legal actions were taken and he will be referred for deportation.

Drugs with gang: Securitymen arrested a total of five individuals including four Kuwaiti citizens in possession of drugs. According to security sources, securitymen arrested a disoriented Kuwaiti citizen in Andalus area in possession of narcotic pills known as “Larika” and other illegal substances. Also, Farwaniya securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen and a Bedoun resident in possession nine “Larika” pills also in Andalus area. They were also in a disoriented state which indicated that they were under narcotic infl uence. In addition, Hawally securitymen arrested two Kuwaiti citizens who appeared to be under narcotic infl uence and were in possession of narcotic substances in Hawally area.

Filipino mugged: Two unknown individuals attacked a Filipino expatriate in Rumaithiya and stole KD 20 from him before disappearing. In another incident, two unknown assailants attacked an Asian expatriate in Riqqa area and attempted to rob him of the keys to the car he was driving. In the first incident, the Filipino expatriate went to Rumaithiya Police Station in torn clothes and filed a complaint against his attackers, giving the police their description. A case was opened and investigations to find them and arrest them are underway. As for the second incident, a Kuwaiti citizen and his driver lodged a complaint, reporting that two unknown men driving a small car beat the driver and attempted to take the keys of the car he was driving while he was on his way to Riqqa Cooperative Society. Necessary measures have put in place to search for the assailants
