Delivery person knifed, robbed

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: A delivery man was attacked and robbed at knife point by three individuals in Saad Al Abdullah after trying in vain to resist them, reports Al Rai daily.

The victim was on his way to deliver an order to a customer when three strangers donned in national attire blocked his way and ordered him to hand over his possessions. They attacked him with a knife when he tried to resist them, resulting in injury to his hand.

The suspects escaped with the loot while the injured person went to Jahra Hospital for treatment before filing a case with officers at the area police station. He supported his claim with medical report.

Meanwhile, a Bedoun youth was arrested in Salwa area in possession of one kilogram of methamphetamine, saya Al-Seyassah.

According to security sources, when the Drugs Control General Department received information about a youth involved in drug peddling, a team was formed for investigations. After confirming the information and taking necessary legal measures, an undercover agent was sent to the suspect to purchase drugs. During the transaction, the suspect was arrested in possession of one kilogram of methamphetamine
