Death for Egyptian woman in husband’s murder

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: The Criminal Court has sentenced in absentia an unidentified Egyptian woman to death for the murder of her compatriot accountant husband, reports Al-Anba daily. The accused reportedly hit the man on the head with a hammer which led to his death and escaped to her home country leaving behind her infant daughter with her neighbor.

Bedoun arrested: Police have arrested an unidentified bedoun who was wanted by law in connection with five cases and had been sentenced in absentia to seven years imprisonment, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, a young Arab woman who was found with him has also been arrested for not carrying her civil ID and violating the residence law.
