Death of Egyptian expat probed

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: Officers from the Hawalli Security Directorate have opened an intensive investigation to determine the cause of death of an Egyptian expatriate whose remains were found inside his flat in Maidan Hawalli with traces of blood on the floor.

Brother of the deceased person had notified the Operations Room of Interior Ministry about the death of his brother, saying he found the lifeless body on the floor.

Acting on information, a team of securitymen and paramedics went to the scene and the body was taken to Forensics for autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Meanwhile, an Asian died of electric shock while he was repairing the main electrical transformer of a house in Jahra, reports Al-Shahed daily.
