Customs seizes 9 packets of marijuana from Kuwaiti woman

KUWAIT CITY, March 31: A Kuwaiti woman was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to smuggle nine sachets of marijuana into the country. According to sources, Customs officers at the airport suspected the Kuwaiti woman who had arrived from a European country and checked her luggage to find two sachets of marijuana in her handbag and seven more in her suitcase. She was arrested and referred with the confiscated marijuana to the Directorate General for Drugs Control for necessary legal action against her.

3-kg meth seized: Police have arrested two persons — a GCC citizen and a bedoun — for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Anba daily. The suspects were arrested during a buybust operation and during interrogation the men admitted to the charge and led police to an unidentified area where they had hidden 3 kilos of meth in the ground.

Expat held for drugs: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have arrested an Egyptian for trafficking in narcotics, reports Al-Anba daily. The suspect was caught red-handed while selling 10 Tramadol pills to an undercover agent for KD 25. Police have also seized 840 pills from the man’s home. During interrogation he has admitted to smuggling the drugs from this home country.
