KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16:The decision covers the doctors, the pharmacists and nursing staff in addition to the assistant medical jobs.

The CSC has asked the Ministry of Health to provide it with the accreditation of certificates within one year from the date of contracting until the issuance of the executive regulation of the Ministry of Higher Education and its work, concerning the law prohibiting the use of unaccredited scientific certificates.

It is worth to mention that the Ministry of Health has issued instructions to the civil medical services sector to issue medical licenses and to continue the mechanism, controls, conditions and regulations prescribed before the issuance of the law prohibiting the use of unaccredited scientific certificates based on the opinion of the Fatwa and Legislation Department.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Health has warned against resorting to methods that do not rely on methodology and scientific studies adopted globally in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and to shun the so-called energy treatment, reports Al-Rai daily.

The sources stressed that patients should stay away from the so-called energy treatment saying this type of treatment, may lead to adverse results because it deprives the patient of scientifically approved treatments. Energy therapies are healing techniques that use “energy” to treat symptoms and disease. The most popular forms of energy therapy are music therapy, vibration medicine, psychic healing, etc.
