Critically hurt man dumped at hospital – Woman spat upon, insulted

KUWAIT CITY, July 20: An unknown individual was found bleeding profusely outside the door of the Emergency Room of Jahra Hospital.

According to security sources, the investigator of Jahra Hospital notified securitymen about discovering him in an unconscious state with injuries and traces of assault on his whole body.

The victim has been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital for treatment. Investigations have been launched to discover his identity and to figure out who attacked him.

Woman spat upon: A Kuwaiti woman, in her 20s, lodged a complaint at Maidan Hawally Police Station against an unidentified person who allegedly spat on her, insulted her and hit her vehicle.

The woman provided police with a detailed description and plate number of vehicle. Investigations are ongoing to take action against the culprit.

Meanwhile, an officer assigned at the Ministry of Electricity in South Surra accused an Egyptian guard of abusing him. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to verify the officer’s claim.

2 hurt in fight: A professor from Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) and a military employee of Ministry of Interior sustained injuries during a fight in Qairawan area.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, securitymen rushed to the location and settled it. The two suspects were referred to the nearest hospital for treatment of the injuries they sustained in the quarrel.
