Covid-hit in suicide bid

KUWAIT CITY, March 17: In two separate incidents, personnel from the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) and personnel from the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior succeeded in convincing two people not to end their lives, reports Al-Seyassah daily. In the first incident an unidentified Arab man, threatened to jump to his death from the fifth floor of a residential building in Farwaniya because he was allegedly infected with the coronavirus.

In the other incident, police talked to an unidentified maid who threatened to jump to end her life by jumping from the rooftop of her sponsor’s apartment in a suburb of Qurain for an unidentified reason. Cases of threatening to commit suicide have been registered against them at the local police stations.
