Court sentences Kuwaiti and two bedoun to life in prison for ‘human trafficking’

KUWAIT CITY, April 28: The Criminal Court has sentenced a Kuwaiti and two bedoun to life imprisonment for running two massage parlors in Mahboula and Abu Halifa and trafficking in humans, reports Al-Rai daily. The three men were arrested on Oct 17, 2017.
According to court papers the suspects held 32 workers ‘virtual’ prisoners, forced them to enlarge their lips and chests and ordered them to disguise as women to tempt clients. The workers were also put under pressure because they were paid only once every three months.
