KUWAIT CITY, April 26: The Commercial and Partial Civil Section in the Court of Cassation has ordered a commercial airline to pay a citizen KD4,400 as compensation for the five days delay in the arrival of his luggage to his destination, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Attorney Ali Al-Wawan, lawyer for the citizen, presented details of the case on behalf of his client.

He disclosed that his client was on a flight from Kuwait International Airport to a foreign country and was in transit at Dubai International Airport. He argued the five days delay in the arrival of his client’s luggage caused material and moral damages, hence, the need to compensate him.
