Cops violating fasting rules; Egyptian wife assaulted by her husband

KUWAIT CITY, June 10:  An Egyptian woman has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing her husband of assaulting her and submitted a medical report to substantiate her claim, reports Al-Rai daily. The wife said she was sleeping and was late in preparing food to break the fast. The husband reportedly got furious and brutally assaulted her. The husband will be summoned for interrogation.

Cops violating rules: A security source said the Ministry of Interior has opened an investigation into a video clip that has gone viral on social media showing policemen breaking the fasting rule during Ramadan, reports Al-Anba daily. The clip shows the two policemen on duty and one of them taking a bite from a piece of pizza.
