Continue supporting ‘Yellow Team’, says Sheikh Khalid

KUWAIT CITY, April 3:  Board Chairperson of Al-Qadsiya Football Club Sheikh Khalid Al-Fahad Al-Sabah urged fans of the ‘Yellow Team’ to continue supporting  the club as it needs unflinching support to win the remaining three matches to enable them to realize the dream of beating the FIFA record for the current league season.

Sheikh Khalid Al-Fahad pointed out that winning the current league is not just about clinching the trophy for the record 17th time, as the club will also break the record of the highest number of laurels in all competitions among their peers in the country.  He praised the administrative, technical and medical crews, as well as the players of the club for proving that they are strong men with great aspirations.

He said they have never been discouraged from achieving more in the competitions despite the obstacles they are facing.  He stated they tried their best last season, considering the sports analysts and commentators regarded them as the best club but they could not make it.

He also expressed gratitude and appreciation to companies, establishments, personalities and loyal fans who have always been standing firm on the club’s side.
