Child fallen in Subhan ditch rescued

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: Firefighters rescued a child who fell into a hole in Subhan in response to a distress call received by the Operations Unit at Kuwait Fire Service Directorate. Upon arrival at the scene, the firemen found the child, believed to be below eight years old, inside the hole which contained unknown substances. They succeeded in rescuing the child who was referred immediately to the medical emergency workers.

A sample of the substance discovered in the hole was taken for examination at the laboratory to determine if it is harmful to humans or not. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to identify the parties responsible in order to take the necessary measure as soon as possible to guarantee the safety of everyone passing through the area
