Chaos in Khaitan during 2 hrs walk

KUWAIT CITY, May 12: The security forces were forced to intervene this afternoon to break up a gathering of a large group of expats who were trying to reach the Khaitan cooperative during the two-hour period walk which is allowed to walk within the residential area from 4.30 to 6.30 pm.

Security sources stated that the expats wanted to get bread from the cooperative even though they knew that entering in cooperative is by using appointment system they organized themselves through a queue but one of the members of the board of directors informed them that it was impossible to allow large numbers inside the cooperative.

As a result many refused to leave the area hence the security forces were forced to intervene and arrest many of them
