CAPT postpones ‘bidding’ to Sept

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: The Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) postponed until Sept 19 the bidding for the construction, furnishing and maintenance of the package three of the projects that includes aircraft parking lots, runways and service buildings for the new passenger building at Kuwait International Airport (Terminal 2) as per the request of the Public Works Ministry, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources from the ministry.

Sources revealed a total of nine local and international companies have so far expressed interest in the implementation of package three of the project. Sources explained the tender for this package is directly related to the new passenger terminal with many components; such as the construction of the runway, aircraft parking, sidewalks, tunnels, airport terminal lighting, special systems, technical support, support center, food supply building, airport related services and work site equipment.
